Breakfast Club / After-School Club / Holiday Schemes

Lone parents make up over 50% of all Lambeth’s families , - many parents in the borough have to juggle the responsibilities of work and childcare. With Karibu’s out-of-school hours programme, parents from the local community will be able to leave their children safe in the knowledge that they are being cared for in a supportive, education-centred environment. Working parents who need to travel long distances in the mornings can enrol their children on our pre-school scheme and we’ll make sure they get to school safely and on time. The after-school club will help parents to go about their working lives without worrying that their children will become vulnerable to negative outside influences. Similar full day programmes will be in operation during school holidays.
